Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Advanced Health Check designed for?

It is built for individuals who are experiencing frustrating symptoms, low energy, brain fog, poor sleep, unexplained weight changes, and are not getting answers from traditional care. If you are motivated to find the root cause of how you feel and ready to act on what you find, this assessment was designed for you.

How is this different from a standard physical?

A standard annual physical tests 10 to 20 basic markers and is designed to detect illness, not optimize health. The Advanced Health Check goes significantly deeper, analyzing over 300+ biomarkers alongside in-clinic imaging and functional testing that most providers overlook. More importantly, your results are interpreted by a provider who builds you an actionable plan. Not a printout. A plan.

How is this different from Lab-direct services?

At-home kits and lab-direct services give you data. We give you data, interpretation, and direction. The Advanced Health Check is the only assessment that combines in-depth bloodwork with advanced imaging like DEXA and CIMT, plus functional testing like VO2 Max, and a provider-led insight report. Those who want to go further, it is the entry point into a fully managed care membership where your results become the foundation of an ongoing plan.

What does the process look like from start to finish?

After purchase, you are onboarded through your Humanaut Health portal, where you schedule your blood draw and in-clinic visit. Once all results are processed (typically one to two weeks after testing) you will receive your provider-led insights report. A motivated client can move from purchase to provider consultation in as little as two weeks.

Where does the blood draw happen?

You have three options: a walk-in visit to a partner LabCorp location, an at-home mobile phlebotomist, or an in-clinic draw at your nearest Humanaut facility. If you choose the in-clinic option, it can be scheduled on the same day as your imaging and fitness assessments.

Do I need to prepare for my tests?

Yes. To ensure the accuracy of metabolic markers like glucose and insulin, you will need to fast for eight to twelve hours before your blood draw. If you prefer to complete all tests on a single day, you will have the opportunity to eat between your lab draw and your fitness assessments. For your in-clinic visit, loose clothing or activewear and sneakers are recommended. You will be moving through a DEXA scan, a VO2 Max test, and a grip strength assessment, so comfort matters. All preparation instructions will be provided through your portal and confirmation email.

How long does the in-clinic visit take?

Plan for 90 to 120 minutes to complete your DEXA scan, CIMT ultrasound, VO2 Max test, and grip strength assessment. If you are having your blood draw done at the clinic on the same day, add approximately 15 minutes.

What happens after I receive my Insights Report?

Your insights report is your starting point, not your endpoint. Your provider will walk you through your results and give you clear steps forward. For those who want to act on what they find, Humanaut's Path and Bond memberships turn your baseline biometrics into a fully managed care plan with ongoing testing, dedicated provider time, and continuous refinement. Your report will include a membership recommendation specific to your results and goals.
