Health optimization is a personalized, proactive, and preventative medicine approach designed to help you achieve a peak state of function and physical and mental performance. This field embraces multiple areas of medicine and techniques to achieve positive health outcomes.
Visit our testing suite page to learn more about the tests provided by Humanaut and our clinical partners. Test inclusions will vary by membership plan.
Health optimization differs from primary care and traditional medicine in its area of focus. While primary care and traditional medicine focus on treating illness and symptoms, optimization focuses on improving overall body function and performance to prevent illness and disease.
Yes! As a bond member, you will be able to schedule virtual sessions with your physician, coaches, and health concierge. You can also asynchronously message your care team as needed through our member portal. Keep in mind that some physical health and imaging tests do require an in-person visit.
Medical therapy and prescription fees, including the cost of hormone prescriptions, peptide prescriptions, and regenerative medicine procedures, are not included in the cost of membership. Humanaut members receive special rates that can be applied to clinic-based services. Prescription costs may be covered or reimbursed by your insurer's drug benefit plan. Contact your insurer for more information. We don't currently accept insurance for medical services.
Your Humanaut experience starts immediately after signup. You'll schedule your initial assessments, including blood lab and in-clinic body baseline measures, and complete your health profile.
We will provide prescriptions for body-identical or bioidentical hormone therapy for men and women (ex: estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone); specialty medications intended to promote whole-body health optimization. Excluding obesity, we will not write prescriptions for chronic medical issues. We will not write prescriptions for any controlled substances aside from testosterone.
Our providers are licensed and credentialed healthcare professionals, including physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners (NP), and physician assistants (PA). Every provider has undergone extensive training based on the clinical protocols that have been developed by our distinguished medical leaders and advisory board. Day-to-day provider oversight is led by Humanaut's PLLC Medical Director. Individuals on a Zone Membership plan will be assigned an Humanaut nurse practitioner as their primary provider during the course of their health optimization program. At this time, members are matched with providers based on availability and schedule.
