Therapy begins with a consultation and pre-therapy assessment to review your vitals, medications, and hydration status. During the session, blood is drawn, filtered, and a portion of plasma is replaced with albumin protein to help replenish the plasma with essential nutrients. The refreshed blood is then returned to your body. After treatment, rest and hydrate for 24 hours and avoid strenuous activity.
